New Year’s Events in Chattanooga
A couple of weeks ago we posted a list of fun events for Christmas and it’s already time for planning what to do for New Year’s Eve – the holiday season goes by quickly! These are just some of the events going on in our city. Also, note that some are family events and some are 21 and over.
SOUTHERN BELLE RIVERBOAT EARLY BIRD NYE DINNER CRUISE
Dec. 31, 4 – 6 p.m.
After a delicious dinner, enjoy live entertainment, dancing, toasts, and more.
ICE ON THE LANDING @ THE CHATTANOOGA CHOO CHOO GARDENS
Dec. 31, 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Enjoy outdoor ice skating under the sky of the beautiful gardens at the Chattanooga Choo Choo. Fun for all ages!
CHEERS TO THE NEW YEAR AT THE CREATIVE DISCOVERY MUSEUM
Dec. 30, 6-8 p.m.
Ring in the New Year at the only New Year’s party in town designed specifically for children and families! Families will have fun exploring the science of carbonation, making New Year’s hats, working with glitter in the Art Studio, shooting off mini Mentos geysers, and dancing in the atrium as we say goodbye to 2021 and hello to 2022!
NEW YEAR’S DINNER TRAIN ABOARD THE TENNESSEE VALLEY RAILROAD
Dec. 31, 7 – 9 p.m.
Join the Tennessee Valley Railroad for a special Dinner Train excursion on New Year’s Eve. The trip includes a four-course dining experience usually on board a restored 1924 dining car and departs from Grand Junction Station.
NEW YEAR’S EVE CABARET AT THE READ HOUSE
Ring in the New Year with a cabaret party and overnight stay at The Read House! Ring in 2022 at the biggest, boot scootin’est party ever! Neon Moon: The Ultimate 90’s Country Tribute, will take you back to the golden era of country music while Davey Smith and The Pearl Snap Preachers will bring even MORE honky tonkin’ good times to ring in the new year. Presented by US 101.

NEW YEAR’S EVE GOLD PARTY @ WANDERLINGER BREWING COMPANY
Dec. 31, 8 p.m. – Closing
